Omo Yoruba nimi Omo Kaaro o jiire.
On this significant occasion of Nigeria’s National Childrens’ Day, May 27, we want to extend our warm greetings and join hands in celebrating the children of our nation. The Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide, Ogun State Council, under the leadership of AsojuOdo Sunday Adebowale Chairman and Executives ,plays a pivotal role in recognizing and promoting the importance of children in our society.
Children hold immense significance in any society as they represent the promise of a brighter future. They embody innocence, curiosity, and boundless potential. Our children are the foundation upon which our society is built, and it is our collective responsibility to nurture and support them.
The importance of children in our society cannot be overstated. They bring joy, hope, and vitality to our lives. They inspire us to look beyond ourselves and envision a better world. Children are the torchbearers of our culture, traditions, and values, carrying them forward to the next generation.
Moreover, children are the future leaders, innovators, and change-makers. They possess unique perspectives, fresh ideas, and the capacity to bring about positive transformation. By investing in their education, health, and well-being, we ensure that our society continues to progress and thrive.
Children are also vulnerable members of our community who require our protection, care, and guidance. Their safety and welfare should be paramount in our minds. It is crucial that we create a secure environment where they can grow, learn, and explore without fear.
As the Yoruba Council of Youths, our role in advocating for the rights and well-being of Yoruba children in Ogun State is commendable. Our efforts to empower them, provide educational opportunities, and address their unique needs are invaluable. By recognizing the importance of children and working towards their betterment, you contribute to the holistic development of our society.
On this National Children’s Day, let us reaffirm our commitment to the welfare and future of our children. Let us ensure that their rights are protected, their voices are heard, and their dreams are nurtured. Together, we can build a society where children can thrive, succeed, and contribute meaningfully.
Once again, we extend my warm greetings to all the children in Ogun State and across Nigeria. Happy Children’s Day! May your lives be filled with happiness, love, and endless opportunities. Remember that you are cherished, valued, and an integral part of our society.
