There is no doubt that sportsmen are some of the highest paid people in the world and the stars of the NBA are no exception. The NBA is the biggest basketball association on earth and is the dream for anyone who wants to go pro. This is largely due to the exposure( that brings endorsements by the ways) and the big bucks. I have taken out time to prepare for you a list of the top 5 active players in the NBA.

Lebron James (The king!)

Lebron James has been ruling the court since 2003 and has also been ruling the money. He earns $110 staggering million per year. He was recently acknowledged by Forbes to be the first active billionaire from the NBA which is surreal. The 38 year old averaged 30.3 points per game in the 2022 season and he doesn’t look like he’s slowing down anytime soon. He has a son bronny James who should get into the NBA in 2023 and Bron’s dream is to play alongside his two sons.

Stephan Curry (chef Curry)

If you follow NBA then there’s no way you won’t know the man who changed the game, Stephan Curry. His unique style of shooting from long range is what most modern day players are emulating. Many kids don’t want to go to the rim anymore because of this dude. Stephan Curry earns $92.8 million a year and takes the 2nd spot on this one. Curry averaged 25.4 points per game in the just concluded season and also carried his team to their 4th NBA title, winning the finals MVP for the first time. Legend.

Kevin Durant ( The slim reaper)
Kevin Durant is one of the greatest players to ever play the game. He’s a two time finals MVP who still has a lot to win. The Nets forward who earns $87.9 million every year has requested for a trade from the nets. Many teams are obviously interested in getting him but even with the change in teams, I don’t see this figure coming down.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (The Greek freak)
The two time MVP boast of a yearly income of $80.3 million dollars. The 26 year old Greek (Nigerian, yes because we like good things) star averaged 29.9 points per game for the Milwaukee bucks. He also has a partnership with Nike for a shoeline “Zoom freak” which will definitely bring a lot of bucks (get it?) Giannis is here to stay and we are here for it.

James harden
James harden is a player who has had a tough time recently. He had an okay stay at the nets and went on to the Sixers. And while his contract is expired with the Sixers, it seems like he wants to test free agency. Despite all these Harden still remains a top shooting guard in the NBA and is a force to be reckoned with. The beardman gets about $62.3 million a year and takes the number five spot. You may not know that James Harden once dated Khloe Kardashian, the man is a sniper on the court and with women.
