In a heart-warming display of compassion and commitment to his Constituents, Hon. Comr. Ege Olusegun Adebisi, representing Ojo constituency 1, hosted the 9th Constituency Stakeholders’ Meeting at Iba Town Hall, his own first Stakeholders Meeting as a representative of the People. The meeting, which brought together stakeholders from various sectors, aimed to address pressing issues and promote development in the Constituency.
Hon. Ege commended all stakeholders in Ojo Constituency 1 for giving him the opportunity to serve the people and to represent them at Lagos State House of Assembly.
“I appreciate the electorates that voted for me and all those who supported me, I will continue to represent the people as well as serve in all possible ways i can. I promise to do more for everyone including the youths and other members in the Constituency. I will not leave any stone unturned,” he said.
However, the highlight of the event was Hon. Ege’s EGE-OKO-‘OPO’ initiative where he generously donated N4 million cash to 200 widows in his Constituency.
This gesture demonstrates Hon. Ege’s dedication to alleviating the sufferings of vulnerable members of his community.
Mr Humble’s commitment to empowering women and promoting social welfare is evident in his actions. One of which is providing financial support to widows, he is helping to alleviate their economic burdens and improve their overall well-being.
His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr Sulaiman Adeshina Raji-Ashade (Oniba of Iba), commended Hon. Ege’s gesture stating how this initiative is a beacon of hope for many and his commitment to everyone’s well-being is unwavering, and we are grateful for his leadership.
” Prior to this time we have been represented, but we never had it better like this, this initiative has never happened before in our Constituency. I am impressed and delighted to be here, witnessing this. With this i am personally endorsing Hon. Ege for second time as the king of Iba Kingdom,” he said.
The Executive Chairman of Iba Local Council Development Area, Hon. Yisa Jubril, commended Hon. Ege for his outstanding performance as a legislator. He praised the efforts made to ensure that the needs of the Constituents are met and emphasized the positive impacts of such initiatives on the community’s overall development.
“This initiative is a testament to Hon. Ege’s vision for a more prosperous and equitable society, where no one is left behind. His selflessness and dedication to his Constituents have earned him widespread praises and admiration,” he said.
The event has sparked renewed optimism among Constituents, who see Hon. Ege’s efforts as a step towards creating a brighter future for all.
