Nigerian sensational artiste “Simi” has been announced the first ever woman in the history books to surpass up to a 100 million streams on boomplay.
The information was released by one of Nigeria’s largest selling musical app “Boomplay” as they congratulate Simi on yet another mile stone in her career.
Boomplay did the honours of taking the news down to their social media platform making it know to the world and most especially to the Simi lovers.
Simi graced the achievement after the release of her 5th studio album “to be honest” (tbh)
The charming songwriter mesmerizes her fans with her angelic liked vocals,putting us a compelling spell that leaves us searching for more. This has giving her grace in the music industry to remain relevant and it also proves that she still remains of one Nigeria’s finest voices currently in the music industry.
The afrobeat artiste has not just achieve a result alone but she has giving other female artiste especially the upcoming ones in the music industry a fighting chance to engage in their dreams of becoming the next in line to do greater things and it has now become a challenge to not only the female artiste but to simi herself to keep going foward in other to achieve greater things.
The current female record breaker has joined the already proclaimed artiste in this these accomplishments that have also surpassed a 100 million streams on boomplay,artiste like,Omah lay,Joe boy,Fireboy dml,Davido,Wizkid and Burna boy. Indeed this is a milestone that would never be forgotten.
Simi can be defined as a body of work, taking a stand in the music industry back in 2014 with her single “tiff” she has then gone further to portray herself to the world as a talent singer that she is,giving her listener everything they could ask for. She has also been in some amazing collaborations that really catch the eyes of her audience like “soilder” featuring falz and many more
She also won the headies album of the year with a released studio album titled “simisola” in 2017 and she seems to have never gotten enough since then but thats a good things cause we’ve cant get enough of her either.
