Leicester City manager, Brendan Rodgers has given what appears to be the condition for the club to sign Super Eagles attacker, Ademola Lookman on a permanent basis.
He said the England born winger should be able to score more goals before the end of the 2021-2022 campaign to brighten his chances of remaining at the King Power Stadium.
Lookman, who recently switched allegiance to Nigeria from England, returned to the Premier League for a second loan spell last summer.
Lookman has scored six goals and provided four assists for Leicester City in all competitions this season.
“He’s come in and done very, very well. It’s something between the club, his representatives and his club that he is signed for. It’s something we have to look at,” Rodgers told Leicester shirelive.
“I said to get to that next level it’s all about efficiency. He’s clearly got the ability, but you have to produce the numbers when you’re an attacking player, and he’s definitely done that.
“Let’s see if he can finish in double figures by the end of the season, and then he will have had a really productive season. Then we can sit down and look at it then.”
