Many of you might know Richard Jefferson from from his days playing in the NBA. Others may know him from being a commentator on “NBA today” or “The jump” on the ESPN network.
Now Richard Jefferson has found another interest in the NBA space. He might now be a referee. The former NBA champion officiated the the Portland vs Knicks game held in Las Vegas. Whether this will be a new path in his career, we are yet to find out. But it was fun watching him ref.
Richard Jefferson was selected by the rockets in 2001 and has since gone on to play for 8 teams. These teams include Nets, Bucks, Spurs, Warriors and dallas. He was in the all rookie 2nd team in 2002 and also won an NBA title with Cleveland Cavaliers.
Jefferson retired from pro basketball in 2018 and joined the Yes network as an analyst. He also appears on ESPN network as an analyst.
