The Executive Chairman of Lekki LCDA, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali, led a significant initiative aimed at supporting local fishermen through the distribution of 100yards of fishing nets and accessories to 50 beneficiaries. The event, held in Lekki, was part of ongoing efforts to empower the fishing community, improve their livelihoods, and enhance sustainable fishing practices.
Engr. Kasali addressed the fishermen, highlighting the importance of their role in the local economy and the need for modern tools to increase productivity. He emphasized that this distribution was a step towards ensuring that fishermen in Lekki have access to better resources, which would in turn improve their yield and contribute to the overall economic development of the area.
