Press Statement: Urgent Call to Address Delayed Results and Mobilization for ’23 Set Graduates of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic

PRESS STATEMENT FROM ’23 SET OF MOSHOOD ABIOLA POLYTECHNIC
To : The management of Moshood Abiola Polythechnic

We, the ’23 set of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, are compelled to address the ongoing frustration and distress we have been experiencing as a result of the prolonged delay in the release of our final results.

As we approach the one-year of our graduation next month, it has become increasingly evident that the management of our institution has shown a lack of concern for our futures.
The majority of our departments are yet to see their final results, which is deeply disheartening.

This delay not only hampers our ability to progress in our careers but also casts a shadow on the institution’s commitment to our academic and professional development. Furthermore, those who have managed to access their results on the portal are still awaiting their statements of result, which is part of the crucial document for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) registration.

In light of these circumstances, we are issuing a 48hours ultimatum to the management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic that within the next 48hours;

1. All pending results be released
2. The available results should be printed with immediate effect
3. The senate list for mobilization be made available.
   Should we not receive a positive response and see tangible action taken by the aforementioned deadline, we will be force to mobilize massively and obstruct the school activities by shutting down the main entrance school gates starting Monday, 21st of October, 2024.
   We urge the management to recognize the urgency of this matter and to act swiftly to resolve these issues. Our futures are at stake, and we deserve the opportunity to move forward with our lives and careers.
