Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappe could end up at Real Madrid next season, according to the hints provided by the Manchester United midfielder.
Both players have refused to extend their contracts at Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United, respectively, and would be free agents at the end of the current season.
Now, Pogba has welcomed the possibility of playing alongside compatriot, Mbappe at club level next season and that could be Real Madrid, who have shown interest in signing both stars.
The two Frenchmen are both set to leave Manchester United and PSG, respectively, with PSG frontman long linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Pogba’s future is rather harder to predict, with PSG, Juventus and Real all linked with a move – though a clear favourite for his signature has yet to emerge.
Pogba says he would welcome the opportunity to play alongside Mbappe at both international and club level.
Pogba was asked if he and Mbappe could be club teammates next season ahead of the 2022 World Cup, he told Le Figaro: “Why not? It’s always good to play with teammates for both the France national team and your club.”
