My name is Ojo Ezekiel Owolabi also known as OMOBA, a student in the department of Marketing, HND 1. School of Business and management Studies, Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa, Ogun State. My personal values are Humility, Respect and Team work.
With a desire to promote and defend the interest of my fellow students in line with the dictates of the Students Union Government constitutions and best practices, I picked the form of the PRESIDENT to serve our Students’ Union Government in this 2022/2023 academic session, to represent the progressive students of this great citadel of learning, Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa.
My intention is triggered by my relentless effort in ensuring that students related issues in aspects of welfarism, egalitarianism, accountability, security and reliable representative through effective leadership is achieved.
My fellow OGITITES, I am not a promiser but I am an accomplisher who believes in effective team work.
I humbly believe that I have the requisite skills and ability to function effectively as the next SUG President if elected into office.
During my national diploma days, one of it was the President of NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF MARKETING STUDENTS NAMS 2019/2020 academic session and also as the General Secretary Of NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF ONDO STATE STUDENTS 2019/2020 academic session (NAOSS ONDO), which was a platform for me to learn and grow more.
“My fellow Students, We can not continue to do the same things the same way from the same CANCUS and expect a different result, this is time for REVITALIZATION in narratives and ideas; I’m coming with the best and fresh ideas, approach and the best ways of doing things that will bring about purposeful representation with feedback to all DEPARTMENTAL PRESIDENTS, INDIGENOUS PRESIDENTS and other STAKEHOLDERS in our dear citadel of learning OGITECH”.
According to Harvey Firestone ‘the growth and development of people is the highest calling of leadership’. Your growth and development as students is dependent on your Education and Welfare.
I am determined to ensure your growth and development as students of this great institution by ensuring that issues relating to your academic interests and welfare are dealt with timeously, efficiently and effectively.
Most of all, I will be a President that Listens, Stays Involved and Makes sure every Union Decision Priotizes YOU!
