Man utd have finally agreed with Barcelona for Frankie De Jong. The English club side have agreed to pay $75 million plus add ons.
The deal has been in the works for weeks now. Although De Jong remains United’s top priority, the red devils gave an Ultimatum of a week before they start looking elsewhere.
Frankie de jong though, does not want to leave Barcelona which is the only constraint in the deal. This is mainly due to the absence of champions league football at united.
De Jong is also owed by Barcelona football club which is another reason he doesn’t want to leave. Barcelona has tried to convince the midfielder to accept United’s offer but all to no avail.
Right now things could go either way but In the coming days the outcome of this should be known.
