In furtherance of his commitment to the welfare of students in Irele Local Government, Hon. (Barr.) Olusegun Ajimotokin, the Executive Chairman of Irele Local Government, will pay Bursary Awards to hundreds of students from Irele Local Government attending tertiary institutions across the country on Tuesday, August 29, 2023.
The Honourable Chairman will also commission Irele Local Government Sports Complex on the same day.
The Chairman explains that the payment of the Bursary Awards is a further demonstration of his administration’s commitment to the welfare of the students, aiming for optimal academic excellence in their respective institutions.
He notes that his administration recognizes the pivotal role education plays in defining the growth and advancement of the Local Government, hence the need for the payment of the bursary awards.
Additionally, the government led by Hon. Ajimotokin will be commisioning Irele Local Government Sports Complex in Ode Irele on Tuesday.
The Sports Complex according to Hon. Ajimotokin is aimed at boosting sports infrastructure and making training facilities more accessible to sports enthusiasts in the Local Government adding that the stadium would contribute significantly to the discovery of talents in sporting activities across the local government and enhance social programs, especially among the Youths.
The Honourable Chairman called on the Party’s leaders, sports enthusiasts, students and community leaders to grace the commissioning of the program scheduled for 10am on Tuesday, 29th, August 2023.
