Princess Adeyinka Olarinmoye expressed her disappointment over the screening whereby a none card carrying member of APC was endorsed in person of Nelson Aremo as Ogbagi sole candidate to face general primaries. The MHR hopeful said she wish she could have the resume of the endorsed to know what made him better than the rest of them.
It will be recalled that Ogbagi Development Council came up with an idea of pruning down the number of aspirants for the MHR Bye-Election in the main political parties for the town to present a common front and win the primaries of the two main political parties.
On Saturday 30th at the Ogbagi Civic Center, the aspirants were then invited for the screening exercise by its committee.
In her further response, the leading APC Rep Aspirant, Dr. Adeyinka B. Olarinmoye said and quoted; “I want to know the marks awarded for all, the categories of the scores that culminated to him having an edge over the rest of us.”
In her words;
“That committee insulted me thoroughly. I’m so like what could be more insulting with my commitment to my party, the progressives since 1998 to date?”
She reaffirmed her commitment to go about her legitimate campaign as bonafide member of APC.
She urged all her political supporters and well wishers across the federal constituency to ignored the said endorsement.
