Earlier last year during the electioneering process that birthed the new Executive in council, the Chairman of Iba LCDA, Hon. Yisa Abiola Jubril (ABILA) promised to help discover, encourage and nurture talents amidst the Local Council when he emerges, this as begin to manifest.
The Dozazo International School is a testimony of this auspicious path, the pupils stopped by at the council Secretariat (Iba LCDA, Ayoka, Iba Town) earlier today to appreciate the good work of the Council Mayor.
The pupils were gladly welcomed by Hon. Adekanbi Taiwo M. (Secretary to the Local Council, Iba LCDA) ably accompanied by the notable Executive members in council, led by Hon. Thomas A. Samuel (Vice-Chairman, Iba LCDA), Barr. Agbawi Adesoji Z. (Supervisor for Education), Hon. Suarau A. Olakunle (S. A Budget, Planning and Statistics, Iba LCDA) and Members of the Management Team, Mr Jelili Jimoh (Council Manager, Iba LCDA) and Mrs Fasinu Janet B. (H.O.D Agric, Iba LCDA). respectively.
The school emerge the champion of the Lagos Literary Competition in the contest of dancing and singing earlier this year (April 2022), haven won all schools ranging from the division to the state level. Dozazo International school was crowned the champion at Muson Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The school had a cultural display to entertain the guest at the Chairman’s office, which speaks volume of the present happenings in our modern day politics, culture and the norms of our immediate society.
Hon. Thomas A. Samuel (Vice Chairman, Iba LCDA), Hon. Adekanbi Taiwo M. (Secretary to the Local Council, Iba LCDA) and Mr Jelili Jimoh (Council Manager, Iba LCDA) addressed the pupils, they were admonished to be hardworking, Obedient, truthful and honest, among other good characters that was outline to the pupils.
The Supervisor for Education, Iba LCDA, Barr. Agbawi Adesoji Z. gave the closing remarks, he appreciated the brilliant performance of the pupils at the just concluded Lagos Literary Dancing and Singing Competition, while, he also urge the pupils to tell their parents to support all cerebral candidates of the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming election.
