My Team and I paid a working visit to the Secretary to the State Government of Ondo State, Hon. Tayo Oluwatuyi (Tukana). We deliberated on the strategic plans of my office and what we have have achieved thus far. I reiterated my resolve to promote political stability by facilitating collaboration, resolving conflicts and ensuring that party differences does not hinder governance.
He appreciated me and my team and promised all round support before, during and after elections. We ended the meeting with presentation of campaign Shirts and Caps to the SSG in a bid to ignite a symbiotic relationship between both offices.
I also visited the State Permanent Secretary on Political and Economic matters, Mr. Akeju.. He pledged his unadulterated support and commitment and wished me well on my quest to manage the existing relationship between all the political parties in the state and ensure peaceful on constructive dialogue between them.
I rounded up my day with the Executives of Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC), a body that plays a pivotal role in shaping Nigeria’s National Polity. IPAC is also a platform for fostering dialogue, promoting cooperation, and driving progress across political divides.
The Chairman in his welcoming address thank Mr Governor, H.E Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for appointing the first ever SA on Inter-Party Affairs in the History of Ondo State. He highlighted the challenges faced by the Organization as seek Government collaboration and support. I share Mr. Governor message of inclusive growth and his continuing commitment to provide for all the citizens of the state irrespective of party differences.
