History repeating itself: Crystal Palace offer new deal to ex-Super Eagles invitee amid Chelsea interest

Crystal Palace are attempting to fend off interest from Chelsea and other European clubs in Michael Olise by offering the 2021 Super Eagles invitee a new contract.

A year ago, the Cobham product came close to sealing a return to Chelsea but the deal collapsed at the last minute after it was alleged that the west-London club violated transfer rules and etiquette.

Olise was offered a new contract last summer, extending his stay at Selhurst Park until June 30, 2027.
