The Executive Chairman of Iba LCDA, Hon. Yisa Abiola Jubril (ABILA), on Thursday, commenced the distribution of palliative to residents, in fulfilment of his promise to cushion the effects of the hardship being experienced by Inhabitants/Residents, occasioned by the current economic state of the Nation.
The distribution, which beneficiaries include Vulnerables, Aged ones, Youths, Physically Challenged among others, is to alleviate the hardship that has culminated from the long overdued fuel subsidy removal.
Speaking at the distribution exercise, which took place at Ayoka, Iba LCDA Secretariat in Iba Town, with teeming recipients in attendance, Hon. Yisa Abiola Jubril (ABILA) mentioned that the distribution will be continuous, while, appealing to the Constituents for their patience, for a very short time, as the Nation get fixed.
He pointed out that the government would be reaching out to the religious centres, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and other distribution channels across the wards in the Local Government.
