DHDEI Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Entrepreneurs Enterprises to Enhance Vocational and Technical Skill Acquisition in Ilaje

Ilaje, March 20, 2024 – The Dakiz Human Development and Entrepreneurship Initiative (DHDEI) has officially entered into a groundbreaking Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Entrepreneurs Enterprises, aimed at bolstering vocational and technical skill acquisition initiatives within the Ilaje community.

This strategic partnership signifies a significant milestone in the advancement of human capital development in Ilaje and underscores the commitment of both organizations to foster economic growth and empower local communities through skills acquisition programs.

The collaboration between DHDEI and Entrepreneurs Enterprises will leverage their respective strengths and resources to implement a range of training programs tailored to meet the needs of individuals seeking to acquire practical skills in various vocational and technical fields. These programs will encompass areas such as Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical work, Tailoring, Barbing, Photography, Shoe Making, Hairdressing, Bag Making, Automotive Repair, and other in-demand trades.

Speaking about the partnership, Akingbade Toluwa-Jolomi, Founder DHDEI, remarked, “We are thrilled to embark on this collaborative venture with Entrepreneurs Enterprises. Under the terms of the MoU, DHDEI will Oversee the process of identifying the beneficiaries and provide orientation, while Entrepreneurs Enterprises will access to training facilities, instructional materials, and certified trainers, also contribute industry insights, mentorship opportunities, and support in facilitating job placements for program participants.
