In a surprise move, Oba (Dr.) Sulaimon Raji Adesina has stepped down as the Lagos State chairman of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN). According to a statement released by his personal media aide, Olalere Samuel Owoseni, Adesina cited personal reasons for his resignation.
During his tenure, Adesina oversaw significant developments within the union, including increased employment opportunities for graduates and restored sanity. Previously the acting chairman of the defunct LASPAGA, Adesina was elected RTEAN chairman earlier this year.
In his resignation statement, Adesina expressed gratitude for his accomplishments and announced his focus on other pursuits, including his kingdom.
