In the early hour of today, Thursday 8th September, 2022, the Executive Chairman, Iba LCDA, Hon. Yisa Abiola CJubril (ABILA). hosted the political Leaders and iconic stalwarts of our great party from the Lagos West Senatorial District at Iba Town Hall, Iba Town, Iba LCDA, Lagos State.
The program was graced by notable Leaders and sincere party faithfuls across the twenty eight local governments of Lagos West Senatorial District, which are mentioned below, but, not limited to; *Hon. C.O Ojelabi (APC Chairman, Lagos State), Pa Rabiu Oluwa (Apex Leader, APC Lagos West Senatorial District), Chief Akinsanya Sunny Ajose (O.O.N), Cardinal James Odumbaku (Baba-Eto), Hon. Funsho Ologunde, Alhaja Memunat Ajao, Hon. Dally Adeosun, Hon. Rasheed Gbose (APC Youth Leader, Lagos West Senatorial District), Hon. Yisa Abiola Jubril (ABILA) Executive Chairman, Iba LCDA, Hon. Rasulu Olusola Idowu Executive Chairman, Ojo Local Government, Hon. Teliat Adeniran Onilude, Executive Chairman, Oto~Awori, Hon. Fatai Ayoola, Executive Chairman, Ajeromi~Ifelodun LG. and other Local Government/Local Council Chairmen, APC Party LGA Chairmen, Candidates of our Party within the Lagos West Senatorial District.
Pa Rabiu Oluwa appealed to all aggrieved party members, he mentioned the efforts been put in place by the party authority to harmonize all it’s members and the need to be united at this sensitive period towards the task ahead (2023 General election).
In addendum, Cardinal James Odumbaku (Baba-Eto) also lent his voice on the need for unity among the party leaders and it’s members, particularly now that it is time to payback for all the sacrifices Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Lagos and South-West.
Hon. Funsho Ologunde mentioned the need to enlighten party faithfuls on the prominence of the social media at this critical time for the upcoming election. And the need to rise up to the challenge by countering and thwarting the blatant lies peddled on social media against the APC.
The Party Chairman of All Progressives Congress, Lagos State, Pastor Cornelius O. Ojelabi, preached peace among party Leaders, he mentioned the urgent plans geared towards decentralization of campaign activities for the forthcoming election, he admonished party candidates to shun segregation of party faithfuls while appointing campaign committee members and the need to create more awareness to the electorate before the party takes charge.
The Numero Uno of the All Progressives Congress in the Lagos, further mentioned the improvement of the reward mechanism already adopted by the party, warns against holding of any caucus meeting _”On no condition should anybody or group hold any Caucus meeting, all activities of caucus (Mandate and Justice group) has been collapsed, except, party general meetings that is allowed to hold, all in the effort to bring us all together as one big family. He concluded by enjoining the party members to report anyone who acts contrary to the directives for appropriate sanctions” Hon. Pastor C.O Ojelabi emphatically stated.
Complains were raised by party faithfuls and satisfactory responses were given by the leadership of the assemblage.
