Abandoned two weeks old Baby Boy found in Igbara-Odo, Ekiti State

A young lady abandoned her newly born baby boy and was found opposite The Word Primary School, Igbara-Odo Ekiti.

According to an eyewitness who found the baby boy early Wednesday morning opposite The Word Primary School, Igbara-Odo Ekiti, contacted the LCDA Chairman, Hon. Mrs Olowolaju Bukola who later placed call to the DPO who picked up the new baby boy for safety before his biological mother who abandoned the baby later show up.

The young lady under 23 years old aged was interrogated by the LCDA Chairman, she said she has misunderstand with her husband siblings and she was maltreated that lead her to abandoned the baby and run away to her mother.

The Executive Chairman of Igbara-Odo/Ogotun LCDA, Hon. Mrs Olowolaju promised to support the young lady and also promise to see her husband and his siblings to settle their dispute to make peace reign, and live as one family.

The Council Boss in her own philanthropist gesture supported the Baby’s Mother with Food Stuffs, cash to feed and to treat herself with the new Baby Boy, Olowolaju further promised her tentatively financial support.
