Fellow Ilaje Youth,
The time has come for us to rise and demand what rightfully belongs to us — a seat at the table where decisions about our future are made. If we cannot collectively agitate for the inclusion of youths in key political positions, how can we secure our rightful place in the administration of Mr. Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa’s government?
This is our wake-up call.
We should have unanimously demanded that a capable and vibrant youth be considered for the position of Local Government Chairman. This missed opportunity must be our lesson — not a setback, but a motivation to push harder.
Today, it’s about the Local Government Chairman. Tomorrow, it’s about the House of Assembly, the House of Representatives, the Senate, and other key appointments.
We must speak with one voice and urge Mr. Governor to consider competent youths for key positions in his government and through his influence. The strength of our unity will show him that Ilaje youths are ready, capable, and determined to contribute meaningfully to the governance and development of our land.
While we acknowledge that the election victory was made possible by the collective efforts of the young, old, women, and men alike, it is essential to remind Mr. Governor that our continued unity, vibrancy, and competence should be recognized through meaningful appointments. We have demonstrated our capabilities through our:

Our contributions to economic growth and social development are undeniable. It is only fair that our efforts translate into significant representation in governance.
Remember, it is someone today; it could be you tomorrow.
Let us come together as one, guided by a shared vision of progress, and present a united front in our quest for youth representation. Our strength lies in our unity, and our future depends on the actions we take today.
